Community workers caring for children with complex needs are given specific 1-1 training by our Registered Sick Children's Nurse and any other professionals involved such as Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist, Dietician.
Our workers are trained and signed off as competent to provide specialised care before they can deliver it. They are continually assessed by the Community Team Leader to ensure standards are maintained and NICE guidelines are followed.
Community workers caring for adults with complex needs are given specific 1-1 training by our Registered General Nurse and any other professionals involved such as Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist, Dietician.
Each worker is given a supervision every 3 months, competency reviews every 6 months and an appraisal every 12 months. In between times, we contact the families, parents, social workers and clinical leads to obtain feedback on the workers performance and the Companies documentation. Any new procedures, policies or legislation is presented to the workers and further training is provided.
We are always looking for ways to improve our service, therefore we encourage and value all /any feedback (positive and negative). We are not perfect, but we aim to be the best!
